Li Qiang's Bio:
The founder and executive director of CLW, Li Qiang has played a leading role in organizing networks of labor activists, researching factories, and conducting worker education and legal assistance programs before coming to the United States in 2000. His rich experience and ongoing contact with colleagues in China represent a valuable resource. Li Qiang has contributed opinion pieces to China Youth Daily, South China Morning Post, Nanfang Chuang and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer and has been referenced in The New York Times, Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNN and others. In 2004, Li Qiang taught as a visiting scholar at The Center for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University.
